Vodafone has come up with a new concept of solar phone. No need of electricity to charge your battery or wait for the power to come.Just use the Sun God’s power to charge your phone and keep talking.

Vodafone has named the model as VF 247. The phone is priced at an affordable rate of Rs. 1,500, keeping in mind the target audience which mostly is the rural mass, and will be available across India from next month.

Normal Day light is enough to charge the phone and it needs eight of direct sunlight for a full charge.The features of the phone includes a a color screen, a torch light and FM radio.

Hope it covers the requirements of basic phone. So this will make more rural people also to have the mobile phones.
