How to prepare Paruppu adai

Ingredients

Boiled Rice  -1 cup

Green Gram 1 cup

Ginger

Garlic (poondu) 5 pieces

Green Chillies 3

Sombu(Cumin Seeds)

Curry leaves

Salt

Poodina(Mint) Leaves

Chopped Onion  1

Pepper powder 1 spoon

Preparation method

Grind the rice , Green Gram , Sombu , mint leaves, Ginger, Curry Leaves, Garlic with salt. Make sure the Batter is very thick.

Take a pan, add 1 spoon of  oil , mustard seeds, onion and fry well. Then add coriander leaves and add these fried items with the batter.

Also add some pepper powder with the grinded batter.

Take this batter onto a frying pan(tava) and make this batter into round circular shape.Add some oil along the edges. Turn it aside after is cooked.

Now the tasty ada is ready to eat. This special dish will be very much liked for kids and this is a protein rich food.

Try it  and serve to your family with some chutney.

Tip:

 If the Green gram sprout is added, it will have rich in protien and vitamins. Have a delicious and healthy food.


How to prepare Ulundhu Vadai (Urud Dal)

Ulundhu vadai is one of the best healthy recipe and can be made very easily. Lets see the ingredients that will be required to prepare this special South indian dish.

    Ingredients

Urud dal 100g
Salt for taste
Green chillies 4
Small onion chopped 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves
Curry Leves (Karivapplilai)
Rice Flour 2 spoon
Sodium salt pinch (optional)

    Method of Preparation
    Soak the Urud dhall for half and hour and Grind it to very soft paste.
    Add salt , Chopped Chilles , onion and the leaves and mix it well.

    Take a pan , pour oil and heat it for a short duration.
    Take the mixed flour and make it round shape like we do for masala vada and dip it slowly into the boiling oil.
    Remove the vada from the frying pan once the vada colur changed to golden brown. Serve the Ulundhu vadai or Ulatham vadai hot.
    This ulutham vadai very rich in Protein and also a helthy recipe
    In some parts of Tamil Nadu this is called as Ulutham vadai or ulutha vadai.

Preferrably for ladies it will act as a good medicine for healthy and strong body.

how to Prepare Sweet ragi balls

Sweet Ragi balls are very healthy and easy to prepare sweets. This is a grandma Style recipe prepared in very short duration and good for health , rich in iron.

Ingredients Required

Ragi Flour 2 cups
Jaggery 1 cups
Ground Nut 2 cups
Salt pinch

Preparation Method
Mix the ragi flour with Salt and water and make it to small balls like we prepare for Chappathi.
Make each balls into circular shape as prepared for chappathi.
Toast in a Pan , make sure it is vell boiled and make it into small pieces.
Fry the ground nuts and then mix the small pieces of fried ragi with this ground nut and Jaggery in a mixie.
Make this into small balls and serve.

This is very healthy dish and can be stored upto 10 days. This sweet will be mostly liked by kids and husband.

  • Take a cup of water and boil it for few min. Mix with half spoon of Seeragam(Cumin)..

The drink can be prepared in another way as follows.

  • Glass of water and add two spoon of curd and pithc of Assofotida(Perungayam) and mix well. The syrup is ready to eat.

You can also take the solid Asofotida with banana or with rice and eat. This is best recipe for good digestion.
